I was always using SimpleSwap and today I wanted to give it a try for Godex. And that was bad decision.

the exchange that you are reporting about was not completed because we did not received the deposit for it.
You have sent Monero to provided address, but the Payment ID was not included. Using payment id or any other destination tags if they are provided on our site is mandatory. We inform our users about this on the stage of address generation: DEPOSITS WITHOUT PAYMENT ID WILL BE LOST.
Payment ID is an important part of the address and missing it equals to sending coins to the wrong address.
We do not aim to deceive any of our users, we just want it to be understood that the information about the importance of extra tags is listed on our website for a reason. And we inform users about this information on the exchange page . Ignoring this information will lead to undesirable consequences like these.

You have good service, but I don't understand why you can't give XMR back to that guy? Coins arrived at your address to which you have access, so it is possible. It is not worth spoiling the reputation. I had a similar problem with ChangeNOW when I sent them XLM without specifying an id. They refunded my coins without any problems.
