See a psychologist. You obviously have a gambling problem. Do it now before it gets any worse and ruins your relationship with your loved ones.

I was addicted many years ago and was able to control my emotions when it come to gambling, so, any individual addicted to gambling can also do likewise. When one cannot control his/her emotions, even the psychologist cannot help such a fellow, that's why you should not be involve in gambling addiction.

I am sure we can control the emotion but the problem is sometimes we forget how to control his/her emotion, so it makes him/her lose control. I think that will depends on how strong your mind to prevent your emotion to explode because it can cause you to lose everything. If you want to quit gambling, then you will need a strong mind that is always telling you to stay away from gambling.
