I wouldnt see it as a pointless or baseless. You know I try to see positivity in everything no matter how negative it looks, it might just be his little way of making the bitcoin value appreciate since most people believe in John MacAfeeeccentric crypto currency guru and former cyber security entrepreneur and well known for his price prediction, I also personally believe bitcoin value will sky rocket very soon too. So, lets not see it as pointless as it makes a lot of potential traders and beneficiary of this coin go into Panic Selling.

He is just a guy who is fooling around, and his predictions have more positive than negative impact on people. Each of us should be free to make any kind of prediction, to elaborate it, to present it, others can like it or not. In the end he is funny if nothing else, with all his predictions and fights on twitter. I think it's nice to be familiar what some crypto influencers predict for bitcoin future, but I always point out have your own.

but if you switch it to the log scale, it paints another picture

of course, he is wrong by a 0
the next ATH will tangent the 100k zone, as bitcoin is programmed to do so.

And how bitcoin is programed? In all my years here this the first time I see anything similar.
Let the man belive in his prediction, that's not useless if prediction is way to optimistic, he can be a little silly cause of that, but not useless. I thinks it's good to have this kind of people who will spread optimistic predictions with others.
