Basic , just be quiet and don't talk to them anymore. I have experienced talking to someone like this , I mean my family respects me and they never say anything bad about me and someone I know will just do it? its inappropriate and rude. Very well said , you don't have to argue with this kind of people most of them are immature. Just like you I also do other things just make myself busy than leaving home because I don't usually interact with other people. I just read some books and watch movies.

Watching movies is the best , you can literally enjoy your day even if you are alone. Well i agree on what you have said they are immature because they are being rude even if you talk to them in a nice way. It is really good especially on cold days you just chill and watch.
