Addiction means your mind want something in a regular basis to satisfy the dopamine needs.

Your brain has three status of living conscious,subconscious and unconscious.In the stage of conscious your mind knows what you are doing but on other stages you may not unaware of what is happening even if you are living in it.

If you want quit addiction from something then you may need to change your life style and concentrate on long term pleasure like building your career or doing workouts and getting success in your business like that.

A person is able to control his brain; accordingly, he can control his instincts and direct his actions by will. If a person cannot control himself because of gambling, then he has ceased to be a human being and has become a biorobot and such people need to be treated for dependence.

Little correction,our mind is controlling us so the people who are not having their brain under control will get addicted to some bad habits.

So, our mind will also decide which is good and which is bad, if being a gambling addict is good according to our brain then don't ever admit a suggestions from someone else and our brain will also ignore the bad view of gambling that most people say.

Your brain though works from past experiences. So it doesn't really matter whether what you're doing is deemed good or bad. And we don't have the same experiences and perspective towards things so i don't think people who haven't been addicted to gambling will know what it's really like inside the head of an addicted gambler.
