If you want quit addiction from something then you may need to change your life style and concentrate on long term pleasure like building your career or doing workouts and getting success in your business like that.

True. But i am sure you can get out of it by being much aware of it whenever you are tempted to go about it. If you are addicted to gambling and you have no money, you will somehow gather a little amount at least to go for it. This is what unable to get out of it. But when you be aware and control over it for few days, this would become normal and you may forget it when you move on.

I believe that he should learn about controlling his mind so he can prevent the tempting of gambling games. Besides that, if he can control his mind, he will be able to play gambling in anytime without worry to lose much money.

But that is difficult to control the mind, especially in gambling games because we can stay for a long time in the games without realizing that it will be too risky for us to continue playing.
