People who gambles well and earn a lot of profit are those people who wins big amount but not everytime so if they want to use that to their daily expenses plus gambling expenses, the fund will be impossible to last for a year depending on the amount. You should really find a job or n investment to rely on it.

Erik Seidel is a rich man in poker and has been a lot in the business plus has his own brand which is just great. If you think you can make $14 million in gambling, and if you are sure you can do that, better go for it and make it happen even if you think you will suffer in the process for sometime for the reward later on is way too great. But make sure the risk is taken by you and not your family which makes things very adverse and chaotic.
