maybe this is not a bad thing since price has been decreasing only? If he forks don't we get 1:1 of the new fork as well? perhaps this could be a good thing as he wants to take development into his hands and possibly increase the value with whatever plans could make it better than current boscoin.

Idk, but a hard fork into a ERC20 token would likely leave current holders screwed, and dumping development for an etherum token sounds like a perfect way to kill the project,
