That is the expectation of most people, but things won't be as simple because unfortunately there are other concerns of these people that is not in fact lead to mainstream and benefit everyone. Speculators are important, but they are possibly one of those responsible for that market still being low. At least the feeling of pessimism has been eliminated!

Expectations for this year will not be the same, because the momentum of 2017 moves in parallel with the BTC Halving trend at that time, at least having to wait 1-2 years to see the same thing. 2019 will be the same as last year, but I see there will be an important breakthrough for at least a pattern that does not cause too bad bearish.
