If I should ask everyone what can be done to foster confidence, we will all have different things to say. Nonetheless, suggestions are welcome, but before that, I just feel that regulation is part of the main language that can restore.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.

For me, that is pretty hard to do, especially when you are trying to convince someone who does not want to be convinced or someone who has pretty much lost faith on cryptocurrencies. I think the confidence aspect in cryptocurrency comes from the inside because only true believers would have that resiliency and courage to continue on despite the many negative things happening in the market.

There are certain step that can be taken to convince them. Imagine what happened during the last bull run. A lot of people that were formerly not interested in investing in cryptocurrency, got the conviction, when they saw the result. Therefore, another outstanding result will convince them again.
