Maybe lets just delete accounts that are not active for, for example, 1 year ?
Check this topic:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=898This is how it would look if we delete inactive accounts (I put them on ignore temporarily):

a little too big

At this point, there is a good chance to clean up this forum from these accounts without much damage to real accounts and users. Leaving these accounts in the booth can create a real threat to Bitcointalk in the future. I will try to explain why.
As you can see, most of these accounts are practically filled with 95 to 100% of social campaign reports. Many of them are currently not active accounts for a long time and can be easily traced and closed. We have so many brilliant people on the forum that there would certainly be some scripts and tools to filter the forum. Merit himself could be useful.
Leaving the matter unresolved may result in the fact that during the next boom junk accounts will be sold and after some time it will be very difficult to perform such a purge without major problems in the forum and obvious difficulties such as new posts and people who will buy these Junk Accounts in good faith, just to ensure a better start and after some time they can even be very good and valuable users with votes and strength of colleagues behind the back.
I don't see what the threat is?
Junk accounts have 0 merit, nobody is going to buy such an account, they would simply start their own and post the same crap.
Besides, "buying an account in good faith" and use it to spam bounty links...this sounds a bit weird to me

I don't see the "threat" nor the reason why we should start a witch hunt right now.
(especially since the witch is on DT)
