That would be true if we were talking about playing card games in the street for money because those are full of scammers and a person who is not into that type would get robbed of their money. It is a bad habit correct, but you cannot blame people for developing vices specially when they have no other good source of income. But here we are mostly talking about crypto based casinos which have provably fair algorithms to verify every bet to be transparent and not rigged by the house.
