I think that this is a preparation for the reversal of the bitcoin price.

It's eventually going to happen after the news of Facebook preparing to launch their own coin and become part of the blockchain, that's their first step and besides cryptocurrency ads will make them more money why kill a cash cow, maybe after a year or two they will announce, they are going to launch their own coin.
