I got the strange effect that while Google Chrome is started and visible the hash rates are higher. Does not even have to show a specific web page.

But for now I've stopped mining VTC via p2pool because there is currently a problem with low hash rate workers not getting paid what they should. A fix will be rolled out by VTC p2pool operators soon hopefully.

Can someone confirm this happens also if the interface is running on different card? Is it possible that running flash forces some kind of performance mode?

Flash? No but Google Chrome definately enables 3d mode (maximum performance)

I noticed a similar thing just have GeForce Experience opened up on my machine... hmm.

My question is certainly stupid but does this trick requires to have a monitor attached to the card ? (most likely yes... )
