I guess this is how people from México and Philippines do it but i don't really get the idea why they have to kill each other plus human puts a knife/blade on their feet? I have watched it on youtube but before i finish it watching i turn it off since it's a bloody fight that some of them have to fight to the death and people are cheering to their favorite rooster.
From what I've seen, they are almost always fighting without any blades during cockfightings around the world. Whether blades should be attached to their feet or not is questionable because, from my point of view, for example, a slow death is much worse than a fast one. I heard cocks are killed immediately after they lose, and cooked afterwards, but I'm not sure if that's always the case.
I would definitely oppose children watching such cruel fights, but as for the adults, I think they can watch whatever they want. If you ask me, I'd say cock fighting is as cruel towards animals as horse racing. I personally don't find such things to be entertaining, but I don't blame people who like them. I'm no vegan, and I realize that I do contribute in animals' suffering in a way, so I can't blame others who do the same only in their own way.
