This is not possible for a full time trader who is making nothing. The prerequisite for trading is your knowledge and experience about the the coin you are dealing in general and the market in particular. This is important because trading is a tough job particularly when it comes to a down market. It is sad to see a full time trader making no money but it is definitely a message for people to have great knowledge before getting into trading.

How can he become a full time trader in the first place if he's not making any money, that must be something wrong with the strategy. But yes, people need to learn more first before claiming a full time trader.

Full-time traders are the people, who have already understood that they can make more money trading than doing something else. They quit their main job to deal with crypto and do it successfully.
