It depends on what their purposes were when they bought it, but I half agree with you. Most people I know invested savings and money they could not lose,,, and to see it lose 90% or more of their value is quite shocking, people should know how much they are willing to lose. However, there is another side to it. If you know crypto, then you also know this is perfectly natural in the cycle,,, crypto falls 90% and then makes a new ATH. Like me, whatever small amount I put into alts and BTC is money I can afford to lose 100% so I do not see the price every day week or month, for me the price in 5 years is important.

Traders must be aware enough to deal every possible consequences on market field, due of high market volatility we can't predict an accurate vision of bitcoin. But being wise is an appropriable way to earn massive profits and I think holding is the most preferable aspect in order to achieve the great thrive.
