I am pretty sure that most well-off investors diversified their portfolio by investing into different mechanisms and not only on cryptocurrency alone. In fact, the fall on bitcoin's price is also an opportunity to most investors in acquiring bitcoin for either short/long-term goal.

There are factors needed to be considered in order to at least mitigate the damage when this typical scenario happens.
