Not exactly. NPXS holders can swap their tokens for FX tokens while this token removal is a different case which won't affect any current holders.

I think they do not want both NPXS and FX tokens to be running together and prefer to have one identifier token.

What you say here is WRONG NPXS will be used on the XPOS and the FX will be used on the Xphone. FX will work like fuel for NPXS just like we see with many other coins.
