I think it can never be the root of evil, if we pass from the biblical point of view, since the time of Jesus Christ, people have done business with coins, and that is where the saying came to "To Caesar what is of Caesar and what it is from God, it is from God ", this means that we all always work to earn our daily bread, our sustenance and if it is obtained in a good way with our effort, the reward is much greater because we contribute to generate services.

When money is obtained incorrectly or is obtained by performing bad actions, such as robberies or similar events, I think that in that approach is bad. But we can not confuse these two things. Money somehow moves and facilitates everything, only values are what keep us and make us the people we are, money does not make you a better person, but it does not make you the worst either, some people look for the wealthy just for Get protection or amenities.

True. Also there is that biblical "parable of the talents", which show us we are in this life to thrive. Money, if earned through honest sources, show our results in life, how we worked and achieved our objectives, it's a signal of success and discipline.
What can also inspire others to follow the virtuous road of wealthy, multiplying the talents given by the master at the beginning, until the final day comes and we have to meet the master again to show our results.
