In any case, it is not always necessary to sell coins at low prices.  And first of all it depends on the real prospects of the project and how the team works.
Not necessary if you believe that the project is so good. But if it isn't, you should start considering of selling that and move to a better coin as an investment before your money is gone. That's how you take if you value the coin that you have, you need to sell at loss and recover in some other coins or sell if you are contented with it.

As much as I'd like to believe it, actual token owners who are also actual supporters of the project don't exist anymore. Especially not if it was an ICO token. It's a conflicting concept anyway, to own tokens/coins for a project that had to be bought, because people who support ICO projects at the end of the day are seeking only profit. So as a bounty hunter, if your bounties were part of ICOs, then you know it's just a matter of when to sell. You already lose as soon as you start (time and effort).
It's the reality that most of the investors are missing. The owners tend to be die hard during the promotion but after the sales and pre-sales, you'll never see them anymore if they already dumped their tokens.
