Why take the risk that the car could get damaged in transit or even worst destroyed if it was shipped to you. My friend work in a harbour and he has told me bad stories of damage that was done to containers and freight ships on the open sea.

Most of us would not even be able to pay the insurance on a car like that, so it is not a prize that comes without an additional monthly expense for car insurance.   We have not even discussed the the price for parts on expensive super cars like this.
