you're right, however I think bitcoin is still difficult to stand alone, because bitcoin is measured by fiat. so, even though people choose bitcoin, they will measure it with their fiat. well, because of that, people's needs cannot be separated from fiat, so I think people prefer fiat, and bitcoin doesn't replace fiat.
