sMerit is a merit that can be provided to anyone else. Suppose you get 2 merit points from someone. Now you can use 1 Merit Point as spendable merit or sMerit out of your 2 Merit. I mean, you can use half of your total Merit as sMerit. Now if you get 1 merit then you will have 0.5 sMerit but it will not be seen. Whenever you get 1 Merit again then 0.5 sMerit + 0.5 sMerit Total 1 sMerit will show up. Giving sMerit will not reduce your merit. Your merit would be as much as it was.
