Or simply because brute forcing the password of a btc core wallet has never been successful and would take hundreds of years ( at the least ) for a decently strong password.

I could do a walkthrough of btcrecover as I have done something similar before, in spite it been for the bitsend project.

If OP is comfortable with this I can start but will require an escrow be setup and funds will be released after completion.

The "btcrecover" is not an option and merely a false hope to whoever has lost their bitcoins, in theory when explained it sounds good. But that's it, it just sounds good.

I have used other methods and done so successfully but if anyone here expects me to go ahead and post a proof of concept when there is 3 BTC being offered as a reward, you're sadly mistaken.
