Plagiarizing isn't just a simple mistake, it's a completely conscious action where the perpetrator knows they're doing something wrong.
There isn't a single context where plagiarism is actually a good thing.

Quoting someone and forgetting to add the source is one thing, that could be a simple mistake, but plainly copying someone's post and passing it off as your own is something different.
