I'm very sure that your friend is plain lazy or naive that scams are always present in the virtual world. Nowadays, people look for proof for some sites before they try it. But I just don't get if he gets hacked by phishing or deposited that amount then never got to use it to bet and gamble.

it is not surprising that he still does not know anything about virtual world and will definitely enter into a phishing link, it must at least be experienced by ordinary people and with that experience that will make him have experience for the next day to be careful, however many gambling sites here from casinos to sports and all are trusted in this community
