Well you don't necessarily have BANANO from owning NANO. They are two different coins. Similar in a way if you have a Nano address prefixed with nan_12345 that you can simply use ban_12345 and exchange in Banano currency. We have have two of the best wallets for both ever created. What is meant is that Banano it is a fork of Nano and utilizes the same block lattice type of DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph), PoS (Proof of Stake) technology.
