Yes, we shouldn't compare both of them each one has their own specialities, Gold is an old asset which many people strong faith in Gold compared to Bitcoin, so in order to get more prosperity to Bitcoin, it will take a lot of time. Where Gold physical entity which many people will invest in gold compared to bitcoin.

There is no comparison of both because of features and qualities of earning, as we know bitcoin has no physical presence and no one can know how much you have but only you so this is the level of security and after that the best thing about it is increasing price and volatile nature but gold does not have all those, so for me gold will take decades to become like bitcoin but in few years bitcoin reduced the value of gold.
