It was only during the last bull run when fees were extremely high that we introduced any fee at all on auto-withdraw. We will only increase that fee if costs increase to force us to.

Nope, I really do like it but somehow it does not make any sense to me when you do in that way. It will be just the same as the first time you set it in the end of month. 23th and 30th will be just one week difference so it does not make any huge difference unless there is some pump and dump like what I said before

I just explained and gave examples. Bitcoin can and has moved by large amounts in less than a week many times. There is an obvious advantage to closing betting when the market still has time to change the outcome rather than letting people pile in with huge bets at 23:59 on the day it is decided. No, it isn't the same.
