How does STO differ from ICO and why did we choose this format to attract investment into Blue Hill Mining project?

At first glance, ICO (Initial Coin Offering) and STO (Security Token Offering) are similar processes in which investors acquire cryptocurrencies or tokens that act as their investments. But in fact, there are two fundamental differences between these processes:

1️⃣ ICO, unlike STO, has no regulators.

2️⃣ By participating in ICO, you do not acquire an asset, share, or right to participate in the company's profits, but rather gain access to a particular network, platform, or service. In turn, the token received on STO is the underlying investment asset – the same as shares, bonds, funds or real estate investments.

Undoubtedly, the scale of ICO is huge, and this is a well-known fact. In fact, in 2017, with the help of ICO, startups were able to attract huge investments in the amount of 5.6 billion us dollars. But, one way or another, in comparison with trillions of dollars of the value of securities based on blockchain technology, the amount of 5.6 billion us dollars is just a drop in the ocean.
