because market demand is still high. and that will obviously affect price movements in the market. if it's still high in purchasing power, even though bitcoin goes down, litecoin has the power of their own market to stay in the market.

Litecoin as other altcoins depends on the price of dominant coin - Bitcoin. The expected halving in the Litecoin network will take place in 50 days but in other hand BTC halving is coming close too. In a year I doubt there will be a cheap prices in the market.
