Study crypto history. See the people who started Bitcoin and were here in 2010?
How many of them support BTC? How many of them support BCH?

I agree with the essence of your post.

BCH was never going to take on or remove or dislodge Bitcoin. It was a failed experiment by disgruntled "whales" that thought they have a right to control the direction the development goes in.

It is a failed experiment for sure that made clear that forks are usually not going to work out.
