Well ... it's a known issue for almost 2 years, even on the Wiki for over a year ... and the longest standing BTC exchange still did it wrong ...
Certainly sounds like a bunch of morons to me.

No doubt once they came up with the excuse to stop people getting their BTC, they then played the financial scam to to advantage.
Clearly software design skills and financial scam skills are unrelated ... as MtGox has proven

indeed, where the incompetence of their software dev's was the first problem, and could be seen as simple human error, the events which have evolved over the past week or so (months - with regards to fiat withdrawals) are unforgivable.

One look at the price disparity between MTGOX and all other Bitcoin exchanges and it becomes clear, the market has spoken and called MTGOX out on its BS.
