Naturally, the bear market should increase adoption rate, because those who bought at the peak in the last ATH are stuck on the market already and waiting for their investment to come out, and along the line, they have already studied how the market works, and are now encouraged to buy more.

Those who lost out and could not get the chance to buy before the last ATH, sees the bear market as an opportunity to accumulate more, while new investors who have never invested, saw it too as an opportunity to accumulate more ahead of the next surge including the whales too, so we would say that the bear market of 2018 has done very good thing to the market than the damage it caused.
