Yes it will recover of course, it is just normal for altcoins to go down whenever the bitcoin is rising because people are selling their alts for bitcoin to make profit,
the question how long is hard to answer, we don't know when will the altcoins rise, but one thing is for sure that once bitcoin stabilize it's price then we will see money pouring again into the alts.

investors now prefer to hold bitcoin than altcoin.but actually in this condition could give us profits if we pick some of them.when bitcoin dominance rate decrease i am sure our altcoin value will start rising smoothly.
