Agreed , more coins didn't survive the last crypto winter . If they survived the previous winter then I believe they would overcome the next winter it there is.

this thread is actually good because i've been getting a lot of great input from these newbies. they got a great knowledge on what is currently going on with the project and they are really up to date. believe it or not, they don't seem to be newbies on the project.

Well, to be honest, you technically still continue to be tagged as a newbie unless you've been given some merit recently (due to changes that were made based on quality posts rather than the number of the posts you've made instead).
