I also think Bitcoin will have a new all time high but maybe within 12-18 months. Whenever Bitcoin hits an all time high it does not automatically mean others will follow with their own all time highs but will Ethereum break the $1000 barrier soon?

Bitcoin will touch a new ATH when it will close to the halving time or it has passed the halving time. I just take 2017's bullish as my main indicator to determine how long the halving will give impact to the market.
Miners dump less and people can buy more to increase the price.
