It will happen I think when the dominance of bitcoin lower, because as many said the dominance of bitcoin is currently more than half of the whole crypto. For now it would be best to accumulate altcoins now because of bitcoin rise the altcoins got cheaper.

Keep buying as long as you have spare funds and you trust and understand the alts to invest your money, the market maybe isn't good for now but along the it will bounce and it will bring good value for our investment, we need to wait till the time comes and those alts will start to join and rally in inside the bull market not bitcoin alone.

If I have spare money, I'll follow your suggestion, altcoins so far has not recovered yet, meaning their value is pretty undervalued and I believe once the bull run starts and bitcoin again make a new ATH, I have no doubt altcoins will also follow next and that would bring big return for us.
