It's good to know that Russia has started to support crypto, after being hostile towards it some time ago. I guess that they've realized the true potential of crypto and Blockchain technology, which led them to such decision. As we all know, most governments accept crypto mostly with the intent to tax it. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and most other cryptocurrencies with a transparent blockchain ledger will see the approval of most of the world's countries. However, that won't be the case with privacy-oriented coins like Monero and Grin, since it's becomes harder for governments to tax them at all.

Despite this, it seems that the number of countries that are friendly to crypto is growing each day. It's hoped that as Blockchain technology progresses, every country in the world will embrace it for the greater good. This will pave the way towards digital Fiat currencies powered by the Blockchain within the not-so-distant future.

Nonetheless, I believe that Japan and the US are among the most friendliest countries in the world towards crypto and Blockchain technology. The NEM cryptocurrency has been very promient in Japan (being used at a large scale), while Bitcoin and Ethereum has been used massively within the US. Which is why, developed countries have greater chances of accepting new technologies than those in the third world. Just my thoughts Grin
