Dont sell anything then you are on the good track but the thing here is that you would need to wait up for price to recover before you break even or profit.

Dont panic because this is a usual reaction for those people who are just new into bitcoin investment when they saw that their fiat money value dropped down due to volatility they became uneasy.

If he's still at positive or even optimistic that the market will recover. We know how people are getting distracted to false news and might bring him to turn down into panic selling rather than to keep holding. Well, all our advice seems to be nothing for him if he'll do it and hope they think of it before doing a stupid mistake.
