I think the most common problem with traders and why they loose is because they dont have goal setting and majority of traders are quite too greedy and full of unrealistic expectation. Some traders hear that people make millions of dollars in trading cryptocurrency and they think that it is a day job, or just a single trade profit, and when they see an increase, rather than take it, they feel it is little till they lose it all.

That point has been covered on above article on this: "Trying to Make Absurd Amounts Of Profit", actually this aspect is a part of psychological aspect. Trading is not only knowledge for trading but more than that is psychology. Greedy, too fear, not discipline, etc are psychological point.
