Most of the hacks happened on centralized exchange, so why keep using this platforms if they are prone to attacks. It would be best to choose decentralized exchanges when you want to invest into cryptocurrency to minimize attacks like hacking.

There is no proof that if you choose centralized exchanges rather than decentralized one, you are not prone to any of the hacks. Those exchanges that has been hacked is coincidentally with a centralized system.

There are two types or risks in crypto investment thatbyou should handle.
1. Internal risks where your investment may go higher or lower depending on the market and
2. External risks which all the hacks and frauds is.

You are already prone to these two and even you go from one exchange to another, its always there. The best thing to do is to get cautious at all times.
