At least we have seen good signals for altcoins and their coming altcoin season. Bitcoin, in coming hours and days, will play important role to support or hinder altcoin recoveries.

if the bitcoin dump is deeper, there is a downward effect from the altcoin that will occur. it's equally bad, because now there are stable assets that can be used as alternatives. bitcoin might go down even deeper, but if a bitcoin pump happens the altcoin might be left behind again.
