The platform should have scale of multipliers, with some available multipliers along the way, min and max; and of course features to manual type which multiplier gamblers want. I also agree with you that there should have an option for gamblers to disable which multipliers above which they don't want to play, not only for the max button. It is nearly the same as cut-loss option on exchanges. If gamblers don't want to bet higher than a specific multiplier, they might have an option to set their limits. This will help them to avoid uncontrol of their emotions, and unintentionally mistype/ mischoose too high multiplier.

But on the usual site, this max button should be always there because it will attract people easily to press it when thry want to. So it does not actually push players to keep on betting max here. It does not make sense if you said that to remove this button just to make people feel that they do not want to press it. It is your choice actually to use it or not so it does not deliberately ask you to keep on playing using max button
