Obyte itself doesn't do bets, 2 persons can make a P2P bet by paring their Obyte wallets or by using a Sports Betting bot in Obyte wallet. Obyte is not between those bets in any other way than just having an oracle that posts sports results to DAG, but anybody could become a sports oracle, which anybody else could use for P2P bets or for their bot, so Obyte being currently also a sports oracle is just to show what is possible, there are some other sport oracles on Obyte, but nothing permanent https://obyte.io/oracles

You get the biggest benefit of using Obyte on some betting platform when you use it's smart-contract capabilities. If you use Obyte just as another payment option on centralized betting platform then it really doesn't make much sense.
