Only reason why Barcelona thinking about Mandjukic now is fact that they don't have enough offensive players right now or at least ready to play.
Mandjukic can be great "backup" plan or plan B but obviously he don't have chance to play much in Barcelona now or later.
Much better option for him is Bayern or Dortmund, in my opinion
He is not young any more so he should make wise decision now, where to go.

Bayern or Borussia would certainly be safer bet for him, he would play more there. He has a lot of experience in Bundesliga so there would be no need for adjustment, and his stats there are quiet good.In 110 games he played in Bundesliga he scored 53 goals and had 21 assist.
Another thing that would make his transfer to Bayern easier is fact that Kovac knows his qualities well , and how to use him the best.I got the impression that Borussia D. is really interested in him, but he is still considering his options.
