Back then, any spambot could become Legendary, so it wasn't much of an accomplishment. And if theymos ever introduced a new Rank (I suggest a simple "Legend"), everybody will have to make it their on their own.

Sure Theymos might make a new rank, some day.. especially as the number of merits continue to increase.

I just don't get a lot of pleasure out of disparaging the ranking up that was in place under the past system, and even if someone has not earned merits under the new system would not suggest that he might not be worthy of his rank that he already earned.

Anyhow in my thinking so much patting on ones own back that comes from bragging about number of merits received or suggesting self-made status, just seems unnecessary and ridiculous.. but yeah that might just be my feelings when I see such content.. but of course peeps can do what they like... I am just making a comment, and I do feel like I am being a bit petty about it, but that is just my sense of the matter and I have already argued this point in an earlier post, so I don't feel that it is necessary for me to continue to go on too much more about points that I have already made.
