I answered a person a question and made a mistake in quoting. Look at the meaning of the topic and my response to the post of man.

So you expect us to believe that you hit the quote button, removed the quote tags, and then added your content in a perfectly formatted sentence... by accident?

Isn't it much more likely that you just copied/pasted the content and added onto it thinking it wouldn't make a huge difference.

I'd say, this isn't a huge/crazy offense, but it is plagiarism nonetheless.

English is not my native language. I know him, but in order not to miss a single thought, before replying I copy a persons message and translate it into a translator. Next, I write the answer and copy everything into the message. For some reason, I forgot to insert citation tags.

I understand that its easier for you to believe in the guilt of a person. However, think about why I should copy and give out as my message a message that is not very unique and consists of one sentence. And besides, insert the same message immediately into the same topic.
