Would be better to have Artificial intelligence that is totally transparent and monitored by every single person on the planet. It must have a kill switch too

Why does everyone consider artificial intelligence something dangerous and evil?If properly applied, it can do more good than harm to all mankind.Everyone is afraid of automation and loss of jobs.But imagine for a second a world where you don't have to work all the time to live.Yes there are downsides of course,but I think they are fewer than the pros.
